Sunday Setlist (August 15, 2010)

August 16, 2010

Really had a fun time yesterday leading worship. Got to sing a favorite of mine – Today is the Day (by Paul Baloche and Lincoln Brewster). We did the Baloche band’s version of the song. I think it’s a bit easier in a corporate worship setting and as much as I like Lincoln Brewster’s rendition, it just seemed a bit more on the “concert” side of things than what we were looking to do.

We also did, Our God (By Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman). Though it was a new song, it was clear that most folks knew it. If I had to do anything differently with yesterday, I would have sung that song a bit longer. The congregation seemed to really latch on to those words and in hindsight, I think people would have love to sing another round of chorus and bridge. Either way, I’m really glad that song is in the mix now!

Here’s the basics of how the setlist panned out:

Closing the Service

  • Revelation Song – Reprise
  • God of Wonders (Hindalong / Byrd)

As usual, you can check out additional Sunday Setlists and a ton of other great resources at The Worship Community.
