PRAY // GIVE // GO — Joplin Needs Our Help

May 25, 2011

Just wanted to make a quick post to say that you’ve got to check out what this incredible brother in Christ, Grant Jenkins, is doing in support of the relief effort for Joplin, MO tornado victims. He’s written an incredible blog post today on his site and I really recommend you getting over to his site to read it! Though he now makes his home in Nashville, TN, Grant grew up in Joplin and he’s partnered with the Tennessee-based church that he serves at Cross Point Church to assist victims in a number of different ways. Click on the button to the right for more info.

This certainly isn’t the only way to assist in the relief effort but it’s a great way! I know many of the churches and communities throughout Missouri are rallying to bring aid to Joplin. So please do what you can to help out in whatever way you feel led to do so.

If you go to Greentree Christian Church here in Rolla, I know they are planning to send a work team down tomorrow and maybe again next week. For info about participating in that, contact Scott Robinson at (573) 201-7120 / srobinson@greentreerolla.org

Here’s some other sites that can lead you to other opportunities to offer your assistance:

If you’ve got other recommendations on providing assistance to the relief effort in Joplin, MO feel free to leave a comment on this post with all the pertinent info!
